About us
Our Corporate purpose is to carefully monitor the complex biodiversity of the unique Philippine eco-system. Our goal is preserve and protect designated marine sanctuaries, and the integrity of the endangered coral reefs. We are also deeply committed to the preservation of the Banaue Rice Terraces, and the development of environmental educational programs for schools.
The Philippine Nature Foundation is a SEC registered non-profit organization, conceived in 1989 to address the unique and special needs of the Philippines. Our mission is to seek out and finance environmentally sound projects and develop functional, self-sufficient entities that create jobs and improve the quality of life. We fund our own projects as well as provide funds to other organizations for their projects that meet our criteria.
The Philippines is a country that is rich in natural resources, yet a tragic victim of mismanagement of these resources. Our agenda is expanding into low-cost housing, clean and green environmentally friendly building materials, eco-tourism, children’s health and needs, reforestation, and alternative energy and power solutions
